Huhtamaki Wab

NOMADIC FREQUENCIES

This Gesamtkunstwerk consists of a journey, an installation and a performance that honors the culture and survival of nomadism. Over several weeks Wab hitchhiked from Cornwall (UK) to the Safiental encountering artists, activists and land projects. He documented these exchanges with recording devices made with recycled batteries and prints using the sun’s frequencies. The installation and sonic performance in Versam create a space for the worldings and voices encountered through this journey. (Text: Anne-Laure Franchette)
